No Admin or Setup Fees
Many self storage facilities assess extra fees when you move in, including “admin fees” and “setup fees”. At StoreSmart Self-Storage, the price is the price, and we are happy to set up your account for free, at no additional charge!
No Security Deposits
Security deposit not required! Unlike some self storage facilities, StoreSmart Self-Storage will never ask you to leave a security or cleaning deposit. We will ask, however, that you please treat our facilities with care and that you leave your unit in the same condition as when you first moved in.
Unused Rent Refunds!
Our refund policy is unmatched! Move out at any time during the month and, provided adequate notice is given, StoreSmart Self-Storage will gladly refund each and every one of your unused days, right on the spot.
Many self storage facilities do not offer refunds or will place restrictions on refunds - this works well for them, but not necessarily for you! Some will limit refunds to unused weeks, instead of unused days. Others will require that you vacate before the 15th of the month in order to qualify for a refund.
We like to keep things simple. Your month starts on the day that you move in, and this becomes your monthly anniversary date. When you are ready to move out, and upon one month’s notice regardless of the day of the month, StoreSmart Self-Storage will refund your unused days of rent. That’s value and real money in your pocket!
Free, No Obligation Reservations!
At StoreSmart Self-Storage, we don’t believe that you should have to pay to make a reservation! Unlike some self storage facilities, we are proud to offer free, no-obligation, reservations. Enjoy the freedom of making plans and reserving a unit without the downside risk of losing your reservation fee. We know that plans can change – that’s life. If you need to change or cancel your reservation, all we ask is that you let us know, as soon as you know. That’s it!
Pay/Manage Your Account Online
We know that life is busy and understand that your time is valuable. For your convenience, we offer a variety of options for paying and managing your account, including our easy-to-use (and complimentary!) online customer dashboard. Pay online using Visa, MasterCard or American Express. You can also pay your bill directly from your bank account, using Interac Online.
If you would prefer to pay in person or via telephone, we do that too of course! For your convenience, you may also leave post-dated cheques or authorize automatic, recurring, credit card payments on your Visa, MasterCard or American Express.

Extended Access Hours and Keypad Access
For your convenience, you may access your storage unit from 5am to midnight daily, 365 days a year, via keypad at virtually all locations. Should you require 24 hour access, please speak with a member of our team – we are pleased to consider all reasonable requests.
